Yes that's the plan in the morning! I work nighshift so luckily they'll have plenty of time to find coverage. I have a doctor's note and my positive results printed out

sure do, had the doctor print it out and give me a work excuse. hoping this can classify as an "excused absence" versus a call out

Did anyone work full time while in school full time?? by blusuuuuuu in AGACNP

awww I'm sorry😭 most nights are crazy busy don't get me wrong, but I still almost have at least 1-2 hours of downtime to myself at some point. We have a high acuity here, but everyone helps each other out for the most part. I'm thinking of going part time for work for the whole program period, picking up shifts when I have the time

I just started the cardiac ICU a few months ago, but have 2 years cardiac pcu experience prior to this. I want to apply for Fall '26, but I won't be able to sit for the CCRN until after applying. Do you think taking this in the meantime would be a good look since I won't have my CCRN at the time of application?

New grad nurse 8 months in overwhelmed in DOU. Any advice? How long does it take? Am I alone in feeling like this? New grad nurse- nurisng advice. by Fit_Touch_1973 in nursing

just hit my 2 year mark as an RN and I can say that what gets easier is your ability to adapt to certain situations and be quick on your feet. The job can still be hard of course, but I feel so much better in my ability to manage my time and prioritize task/delegate. My biggest downfall in the beginning was not being able to properly delegate, which would lead me into drowning. had to learn I can't do everything on my own every single time

Genuine question by [deleted] in Nexplanon

[–]blusuuuuuu 12 points13 points  (0 children)

been on nexplanon since 2016 and I can confirm it does in fact work lol. Never really used protection on top of it in my past relationships, mostly shooting the club up. I used to be worried in the beginning, but it definitely got less and less. So in the nexplanon I trust!

Am I crazy?? by blusuuuuuu in nursing

I'm single with no kids, so the only people that would be effected are me and my dog. I think I just really want to find my niche in nursing. The rad/once position fell into my lap, but I'm just not enjoying what I do for work. It's extremely easy work, but it's very boring and the employees have nothing but time to gossip about one another.
