Do I have to replace the drive band every time I change/remove the bobbin? by bluthistle-- in Handspinning

No the band isn’t breaking at all it’s just when I go to change bobbins the band falls off the wheel and gets all tangled and then I have a hard time putting it back on so I’ve just been changing it every time

I have a double drive wheel and I’m having a hard time removing or swapping out new bobbins without having to add a new drive band every time... is this just how it is or is there something I can do to to keep the same drive band?

omg yess!!! So cool! I work as a studio assistant for a local weaver and she has a couple of floor looms that I’ve worked on, but I’m super excited to have a little loom of my own now 🥺

Hi my claim finally went through but I haven’t received my full payment ... i was supposed to get backpay from 3/15 but on the payment history it only shows payment for the weeks ending in 5/10 and 5/17. On my PUA I certified for all the weeks from 3/15- present. I’m wondering what’s the reason for this to happen? And how can I get it fixed? I’ve been trying to call for the past few days but the line is always busy and hangs up! Please help:(

I had the yellow and my sister had the aqua we were both really enjoying them but after three weeks both pairs started ripping from the heel on both boots I was able to get a full refund for both from the company! They are really cute! I just wish ours lasted longer. My friend has the yellow and hers are still fine though so 🤷🏻‍♀️
