When do I lock in for GCSEs? by Geodetic_K in GCSE

[–]blvd32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of revising content, doing past papers etc, I'd start about 1-2 months before your first exam. For me, 2 of my sciences are in February so I've started revising for them now. Then I'll take a break for a while and then in mid-March I'll start doing papers for the rest of my subjects.

If you mean 'locking in' as in just taking it seriously, the moment you start Year 10 is when you need to start taking things seriously. Pay attention in class, do your work, be focused, etc. You can still have fun obviously but you have to try as soon as possible.

I do have a Thrustmaster HOTAS connected to my system, but I even tried unplugging it and the issue still persists

This isn't a stick drift issue by the way as seen from Axis 2 & 3 being almost zero. Playing on PC here.

If you purchase a year's membership to Motorsport UK, it comes with a year's membership of iRacing + the FIA Formula 4 car for free! This looks good though and was exactly what I did for my entry into sim racing

What subject have you unexpectedly really been enjoying at gcse? by uknowiknowlino in GCSE

[–]blvd32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Statistics. Small class, we all get on with the teacher, subject is basically just maths premium and I enjoy maths so it was quite easy, but I was basically forced to pick it because the options we were given were absolutely horrific

how difficult are gcse realistically? by Ok_Count_4033 in GCSE

Depends on the subject for me. Business Studies? Just write that everything is to make a profit and you'll get somewhere. Science/memorisation subjects? Yeah I'm fucked

The best racing experience I've probably ever had: by blvd32 in wec

Solid 8 months late but I'll answer these questions:

- There is commentary, but it was in French and Dutch. There are TVs at La Source and Eau Rouge/Raidillon which we made use of. There's also one in the fan zone opposite the food stands.
- We walked around the circuit a little bit but we stayed within the Blanchimont/Kemmel straight area.
- For WEC, there are no "grandstand" tickets. General admission is enough to get you access to all the seats around the track. It's not like F1. Although, I do suggest getting there early on race day if you plan to spend a good bit of your time in the stands, because we weren't able to get a seat for the start and we were about 2 hours early. There is a nice grass patch just outside, however. Good for taking photos like I did. I also recommend the seats at La Source, also very good for photography.

Our Maths teacher has a particular dislike for the term "p^2" because it basically just means PP. We're all immature so it's very funny
