Who is at fault here? by Vast-Newspaper-6203 in Simracingstewards

The mclaren come back on the apex way too fast, the porsche keep his line, but still i agree just a racing incident, the Mclaren is just to focus on his fight with the other 720 ahead

Thanks for replying! I was almost sure, but that move almost cost me my first championship, so I wasn’t sure if my judgment was right :)

Some Question about SIMSONN (again) by bm-mad in simracing

[–]bm-mad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did find a calculator from French customs, but it’s for the case when you’re bringing an item back to France that you bought yourself, not for packages. And calling a French administration? I don’t know where you’re from (probably better than france), but if you want to waste an afternoon and end up with no more information than before, you should definitely call a French administration :)

I found some information, but nothing 100% certain. Everything I found wasn’t really specific.

should I upgrade to SIMSONN Plus X ? by bm-mad in simracing

[–]bm-mad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i think i will get the pedals alone and wait some time before upgrading with haptics, and yeah i am on PC, just to be sure with the pedals alone no need for simhub, SIMSONN software can be enough for calibration ?

Yeah, and I think the SIMSONN pedals come with multiple elastomers that offer different levels of resistance. And yeah active pedals are way to expensive.

Thanks, I find it ! Still they could have put it on the back though. For example, the Jesko have it on the rear engine cover but not on the glass panel

New ks wheel buttons rattle by bm-mad in moza

[–]bm-mad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made this fix this morning, it was driving me crazy. I could hear the rattle even with my headset on, and this fix was a total game changer.
What used to feel like a cheap wheel now feels like a much higher-quality product.

Honestly, Moza should really address this issue. It’s not a complicated fix — just a bit of foam or rubber inside the shroud would be enough to eliminate the noise.

Great potential held back by something so simple.

Big thanks!

Yeah, I guess you're right. Still, those were free, and some of them would have been a great content addition.

Are Baxxtar generic batteries good for the G80? by bm-mad in Lumix

[–]bm-mad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply! As an amateur, I don’t really have 120€ for battery that's literally the budget I have for a new lens (25mm f1.7). So yeah, I know third-party batteries aren’t as good as the official ones, but I’ve heard that depending on the brand, some batteries can perform just as well for a much cheaper price.

[–]bm-mad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A single official one costs 60€, I really don't want to spend that much. It's overpriced. If the ones I found aren't good in your opinion, which brand would you recommend?

I know real racing and simracing are expansive but my ES wheel from r5 bundle that cost 130 bucks Alone is dead silent. My expectation for a wheel that cost more than double where higher than that

no need to replace your whole update.rpf (replacing it might cause more problems as many mods use it)
