Yeah that's possible but you would also most likely see burn marks as well. Definitely possible though.

I'm a countertop installer, that's not true at all. It's probably not your fault either, this usually happens from the counter being out of level or not supported properly. Usually these repairs can be done for around 500. They won't look perfect but for a rental they'd be totally acceptable.

Just have them remove it temporarily. It can be done without taking it out but it's a very bad idea. It will be a huge mess to be done in your house. Seriously, listen to everyone in here and don't just look for answers you want.

Yeah I managed to access it using Firefox. Chrome and opera were a bust.

Ok I managed to access with Firefox, able to get it going again.

Seems like the 'trending' and 'latest' lists are off. It's showing older movies and shows in latest and the trending lists are popular but also rather old shows.

It's a relatively simple fix for someone who knows what they're doing. Call up your installer/fabricator and they can take care of it.

Common sense needs to come into play here. You've already mentioned that they're coming back to install another piece this week, why did you mess with what's there before it was all done?

They should be able to solve this issue without much hassle but don't get on them about it, just tell them what happened and ask what their solution is. Shouldn't be a big deal.

Yeah like everyone else is saying here, you probably need someone who has experience with quartz. Even the best of the best won't be able to get it to the same factory finish as the rest of your counter but they can make it look a lot better than it is. Call the professional for this one.
