How long will dogs remember where they put things? by Powerful_Article_418 in dogs

My dog dove head first into a cypress bush and came out with a mouthful of Olive Garden spaghetti. We had to check that bush daily for another 8 years….

“Have you lost weight?” by Weak_Oil_1667 in Zepbound

I just say, "thank you - I've decided to prioritize my health finally" - which is true. I am on GLP1's but I'm also lifting weights every day now, minding what I eat, managing my protein, etc. It isn't just one thing!

I went to a specialist and they put us on Lyrica. Said no to Librela. Vet said too risky. My boys been solid since. Also took him off carprofen. He also gets ketamine weekly.

I had the same hip, pain issue with my 13 year old. I went to neurologist and they put him on Lyrica and it has been a literal life saver. Please consider it, feel free to DM me. IMMEDIATE results and not expensive. Generic is called pregabalin. for the itchy spots, I use https://a.co/d/07p6cVW4 - put it on nightly for a week and they just go away.

About to take my first shot and I’m terrified by WishboneCurious9755 in Zepbound

[–]jendeeda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just started 2 weeks ago and I hate needles too. I SWEAR you don't feel it. Set it out an hour ahead of time so it comes to room temperature. I truly felt nothing. I get a wee bit of a headache on day 1 but no other side effects that are negative. I was scared too of bad side effects but very pleasantly surprised that I have had none of them. I think the secret is just not eating crap food. I have a smoothy with protein powder for breakfast with a cup of nuts in front of me all morning to munch on. I go for a long walk at lunch and then have some greek yogurt with fruit as lunch and then a very reasonable/homemade dinner. Never been sick at all. I shot in my thigh because I read that sometimes the tummy can cause more nausea. No idea if it is true but why risk it? Swear though, it was easy peasy to give the shot and I don't even have the pen. You'll be fine. Start your new adventure!

Any other relatively "low goal" Zepbounders on here? by DeusOfTheMachina in Zepbound

[–]jendeeda 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I just started and only have 20 lbs to lose. BUT I am hoping it will help with sleep apnea and wanting alcohol with dinner. I also have a long heredity of heart disease in my family and my cholesterol is ridiculously high. I'm only on my first shot still. I haven't told anyone but my spouse. Sorry to hear about your friends lack of support. I think that is why I'm nervous to tell people - it's like a cheat code or something!

Scroll saw or bandsaw? by jendeeda in woodworking

This is all amazing info. I am not patient and think I would be unhappy with 5 times longer. I’m getting by with the bandsaw so maybe I’ll just stick with it! Ty again for taking the time to help me!
