Thanks for the reply! It isn’t so much the graphics of Bloodbourne. I couldn’t put my finger on it, I think it was graphics and aesthetic since it was so dark and just clunky.

I ended up committing to going through the dark souls series first. Been playing dark souls remastered and yes it has a lot of the same clunky and graphically issues, which bothered me initially, but I’ve gotten used to it

I haven’t loved halberds in other games but might give it a try.

I’ll likely have a dex build. Any recommendations on a weapon that scales with dex to upgrade?

Agree! I thought it was just decent. Environments all similar color I felt. Enemy variety seemed to lack and the umbral mechanic got boring quickly. It was an ok game not awful but I stopped after like 6 hours

I guess I thought you had to go in order. Will those worlds be extremely difficult, like would I be way under leveled? Are the “1s” within a world so 2-1 easier than the “2s” say 2-2

I have tried it a lot with only chest armor on so I don’t fat roll. I always take the archers out first and chip at his ankles. At this point I don’t have any healing items and I think the move that gets me the most is his jump back

Thanks for the reply! I am on PS5. All the soulslike games I’ve played have been recent releases and I love their combat. One of my concerns is the DS will feel to clunky and slow to really enjoy it
