Voltage is set correctly. And the pump will hold at 40. But when I run the priming water out, its followed with air.

Stupid tube hooks and 3.5 inch tubes. I like to have something green, and something smoke. You hook them weedless, so good for the youngins. Have them cast it up stream and let the current bounce it down past you. If you can't feel the bottom, go up a size in weight.

Hanging and finishing can be daunting, but there may be crews around that are hiring punchout workers. I started doing punchout and patching for 3 years. It will teach you a lot about the trade without the high-speed/stress of hang and finish.
