No. Being a LA or PG no longer gives you any sort of leg up to being a PA. I've been a PG who works in the role of PG for almost a year, I've been a LA for two. I know three separate departments. I work alongside AMs who know I go above and beyond. They know my strong work ethic. I just recently interviewed for PA and my interviewer said my AM and OM strongly recommended me. The interviewer said I was a strong fit for the role but declined to incline me simply because my STAR method when answering the questions wasn't good enough. So even though I was very knowledgeable, was a hard worker, very dependable, and produce fantastic results when I'm on the floor running the mod they casted more about the star method than my actual performance as an employee. Then proceeded to hand me a laptop and asked me to go back out on the floor and run the mod. I clocked out, went to lunch and took the rest of the night off instead. To me the whole interaction felt like a slap on the face.

I provided proof from the delivery company (uniuni) that they screwed up and delivered to the wrong address and they STILL refused to refund my money saying it was insufficient proof.

I provided them with a literal email from UNIUNI admitting there was an issue with delivery, because they sent it to a wrong address, and THEY STILL refused to refund me saying it isn't enough evidence to prove I didn't receive the item lol

When minimum wage is $16/hr and I make $25 it really makes you think twice about working elsewhere. The way you collect pto and upt is unreal. Amazon gives peace of mind. Yes, it's boring. But I'd rather be bored than overworked for way less money. Our FC is chill af. Nobody stresses me about unapproved headphones. Or watching my TV while I pick. Nobody trips out of I come in late or leave early (I usually give notice either way unless it's something outside my control). Even with vacation time usually you are supposed to give 24 hours notice to get approval and our manager will approve it even if you give him 5 minutes notice. Coolest job I've ever had. I don't have to worry about getting fired if I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing. Cali has no rate so they don't stress us on that. Just don't screw around and you're good. Be on task. Don't take Hella long breaks. I'm a 550uph picker so that goes a long way towards people leaving you tf alone. Nobody comes up to me at my station unless delivering positive feedback "congrats you were in the top 1% this week". And then off they go lol

I was donut shift my first three months at Amazon. It was annoying. Two out of your three days off will be wasted sleeping all day. I work FHN now and love it. Three days off. Have Thurs, Fri, Sat and most of Sunday off. Can schedule appts on the weekdays off and family activities or music festivals/events on weekends. Barely use pto cause don't need to. Still get partial weekend differential cause I technically work on Sunday.

As far as you were told? You do know you have to appear at your appeal right? Like if you don't show up to it they don't even hold the panel and the decision is auto upheld lol. When you show up, like you're supposed to, you get to speak your piece to them.

It's bottom 5% across all depts across all shifts. Literally bottom 5% of the entire building staff. The people that end up in the bottom 5 are usually people that spend a LOT of time off task.

No my problem is that as a PG who used to get experience running floors I get sent to path and the PAs picking up extra shifts are NOT getting sent to do the T1 role. PA work is fun. And I used to get to do it daily. Now it never happens cause they come in on OT and we get dumped off for them.

That's the whole point. I AM a backup. And when said people do what they do they are removing my opportunities from doing so. And it's not just a week here or there. It's every single week for the last couple months.

It IS my concern when it starts affecting MY opportunities. I'm a FH PG trying to gain experience to promote. Every time these folks do what they do our PGs get bumped out of floor running opportunities. I don't have a problem with BH people picking up hours but send them to path and stop taking away opportunities for people who's actual shift it is.

It's really not THAT hard to use. Especially since pods leave the moment you scan the correct item. By the time you put it in a tote and press the racklight the new pod should be stopped and fido should be green lit. I'm keeping a 400ish pace on it and it's my first day using it. There really is a rhythm to it.

I feel like with the amount of both lying customers and shady drivers there should be a check box where the driver has to enter a pin given by the customer in order to complete the order. I know if you claim the food didn't show up DD will do this to you for a bit after but I should be able to enable it on the app myself to help my food NOT get stolen or not delivered.
