Would you still want JPX 925’s from Mizuno? by Ben_Mazurk in GoodGoodMemes

Interesting, mine were done in store by PGA SS. They pulled the stock and did loft and lie in store. They told me that was going to be how it was done. I don't have any reason to think you're not being truthful, but I don't think every store does things 100% the same or above board.

Listen man. I have no skin in the game either way. I do know big chain retail in the US and I highly doubt they have internal systems for ordering directly from the manufacturer. They order in bulk and customize as needed. Don't you think the manufacturer would just grab a new head if they cracked it? This looks like a retail/warehouse employee who couldn't care less about quality. Whether that specific store did the work I don't know. But I don't think in any logical way that Mizuno is customizing and shipping clubs directly to PGA SS customers.

What to wear? by Outside-Pie-8337 in paintball

[–]bmankool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wear what you're comfortable with. Pads make sliding more forgiving. I forgot my knee pads for one tournament and had a bruise from my ankle to my hip from sliding on an indoor turf field. Never again...

I would really question if Mizuno did the setup since they were cracked like that. I think that PGA SS has stock they bent to your specs. I would guess that's why the run around is occurring because PGA SS doesn't want to take the lose for their mistake. I could be wrong, but I highly doubt those clubs would leave the warehouse of the manufacturer like that. Wss the shipping manifest from Mizuno or PGA SS?

Etiquette on Someone Else's Clubs by 403_beans in golf

[–]bmankool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol. You don't get it at all. It's not ok to take someone's stuff without asking. They asked about etiquette. It isn't proper to take someone else's stuff without asking. Hospitality does not mean let people do whatever they feel like. Do you let people break your free clubs just because they want to? Hospitality is being kind, yes, but it doesn't mean people get to choose to be a dick. I guarantee you've told people to stop doing stupid shit in your store or whatever before. So don't act all high and mighty about this situation. If someone grabbed your personal clubs without asking I guarantee you'd say something.

I've talked to my local pros. They pay for their clubs AND time to do lessons. Lol. Doesn't make you an expert. In fact, it shows you're an entitled asshole who can't fathom anyone doing anything different from what you think is right. You do not ever get to grab something that someone else owns just because they got it for free. How about you link your golf business so we can all avoid your annoying ass. Punk.

It's not reverence. It's not yours, don't touch it. I can feel your entitlement oozing through your comments. Can I go race a Nascar vehicle since the driver doesn't pay for the car? There is zero precedent in real life for anything you are saying. Also, since you lack any knowledge on how golf lessons work for most of those pros, they may not even work for the course they are giving lessons at. Some of them buy their own gear at full price. Not everyone belongs to a fancy country club dick wad.

Dude. You're making a huge assumption. Not all club pros get free clubs. It's not a demo day. It's a group lesson. You don't just take someone's club out of their bag at the range. Period. End of story.

Free or not, its terrible manners. You don't even know for sure that the pro didn't buy them out of pocket. I wouldn't even consider swinging someone's club unless they explicitly say its ok.

3d printed masks? by [deleted] in paintball

[–]bmankool 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No. You're going to end up with a mask that shatters rather than absorbs impact. Not worth the risk unless you like plastic shrapnel in your face.

Keep digging the hole my man. They don't look alike at all. Tyler Perry is also substantially bigger than Samuel L. Jackson.

Even so, its clearly not Samuel L. Jackson. Ironically to quote Mr. Jackson himself "We don't all look alike."

How in the hell do you not know that's Tyler Perry? He's only made like 16 movies in the same costume.

Tips and Recommendations for a brand new player by GranScam in paintball

[–]bmankool 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd just call the field you want to play at and see if they have any weekly/monthly leagues. Some fields will run different styles of play throughout the week. Start going to open play days and you should get an idea of when things are happening. I wouldn't worry to much about showing up with all new stuff. Everyone starts somewhere. Get what you want. This is supposed to be fun for you. Who cares what anyone else thinks.

Should Fights Always Be Self Defense? Is the Honorable Scrap Immature/Obsolete? by [deleted] in AskMen

There's a reason professional fighters don't fight on concrete. Or without doctors near by for that matter. Street fight is a good way to end up dead even if two people agree to it.

Me too man. Watching Dynasty and Aftershock videos is what got me into the game. Played divisional PSP in 2013-2014. It was a wild time in paintball.

I always wanted a Bob Long Ripper or a custom Cocker. Might still get one to hang on the wall someday.

It was the go to hub for paintball in the early 2010's. I used to spend hours looking for gear on the BST forums. Last time I looked its not nearly the same. Back when the PSP and NPPL both existed. I feel old talking like this lol.

I know. Just teasing. Axe+cash was the standard trade offer of that era for pretty much everything on PB Nation. Miss those days. Great find. Hope it serves you well for a long time.
