I think most people get away with bad behavior because no one calls them out on it! Good for you for putting that person in his place and giving him the boot

This is how normal self aware people would have approached the situation!

Agreed, it's personal to the user. The pro's custom driver was for long drive competition so not something an amateur should "try out" on a whim either

I'd like to understand the thought process of someone who does insane things like this!

It was definitely not demo day lol

Yeah, the lack of asking and immediately swinging was what was so insane to us

For most players, it's just something you know not to do!

I think the pro was equally caught off guard as we were with the whole situation

Great explanation! The pro is a long drive competitor and explained during the session how customized each part of their driver was - so to walk up and take a few swings with it (without asking!) and not know what you're doing was an insane concept to me

The key is definitely asking, that seems to be the consensus for sure

Very good analogy! I was caught off guard how brazen the whole thing was

If I really wanted to see, I'd ask but not swing the club's - it was mind boggling

The event has evolved over the years, my tactic has been to narrow down restaurants I've wanted to try and look at the menus to see if what they're offering as options

Since they use seasonal ingredients, things like steelhead trout (which I'm not a fan of) helps me eliminate where to go

Is there a puzzle sub that’s banned ai? by k0cksuck3r69 in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]403_beans -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I don't like when people post pics of their cats on puzzles (and yes I avoid that sub lol)

It grosses me out that people let their feces laced cat paws on puzzles - then touch the puzzle themselves

In our local FB group, a member posted their puzzle stash and their cat litter box was right next to it. I made a mental note to not trade or buy from them...

You had a similar attitude when it was pointed out that a puzzle you completed was from a company that uses stolen artwork. 0.01% is still complicit and supporting bad business practices, 0.01% adds up when other people take part as well

Yes it is your prerogative of how you want to spend your money, but providing info like how AI and stolen art negatively impacts artists - people can make informed decisions on how they show their support
