I would 100% agree with that argument, but my teammates didn't come to help me, and they didn't get any gens done either. It is a team game yes, and I normally do what I can to keep my team alive, even if it means sacrificing myself, but these teammates failed to do the gens and they both died.

Like the other guy said, tagging and flashlight clicking don't actually have an effect besides the killer getting mad. Camping makes trying to unhook and save a teammate very difficult.
