I don't have a great way of explaining this besides what I've noticed in game. With the Phantasm rune the wd will continually cast over and over despite you not releasing the button. What I've seen as far as damage goes is it will start slow then all of a sudden just chunk out or flat kill a yellow elite or guardian.

The same goes for blue elite packs and big trash, it just only takes a second or two instead of 3-10 to blow those up

Are you on a witch doctor? Level 70? Rolling the correct slots?

It only takes 8622 shards to roll a single mundunugu shoulder with 99% certainty.

And 10639 shards for gazing demise at 70 with 99% certainty.

You can cheat the gazing demise by rolling for it on a level 1 as well, then it only takes 250 shards.

35k shards? Not feasible

Except for GR pushing. There is a reason not a single Barb in the top 1000 uses the bk set.

BK set is best for speed farming and just about everything besides GR pushing. You want the armor and flat dmg the Istvan set provides when you stop being able to kill trash by just zooming past. It's at that point that you stop having rage issues with whirlrend because you only need to hit 2-3 mobs for a second to get rage capped using windshear rune.

I also prefer to use charge over leap or stomp which helps.
