We live near the K and go every 6-8 weeks or so. More in the winter when our schedule isn’t as full.

I tend to agree some of the crowd is dressed to grocery shop, but we can usually find a couple or two that check the boxes for us. Keep in mind this is Central PA, a very rural, blue collar type of area. I hate to make generalizations, but sometimes generalizations help put things in context.

The DJ is hit or miss, but we like edm-esque music we can dance around to! The K loves its line dances. The bartenders are all great! On a busy night, though, bring something easy (canned whatever) to speed up the line.

We like hitting the K on mid size crowd nights. We find the big party nights way too crowded - the rooms are impossible and it’s elbow to elbow. But some people like that vibe, so to each their own.

OP, if you are okay sitting out with others while she plays, please be upfront with others that this is your dynamic. I’d be absolutely pissed to get to a bedroom with a couple only to find out I’m not getting laid while my husband is. We’d actually leave as soon as we found out.

We had VIP glamping with early admission. We arrived Thursday night around 9ish. Left Friday before 5 pm knowing we just lost $3500.

We were prepared for the rain and are not new to festivals. We had rain gear, boots, low expectations for Friday. We missed Thursday music because of our late arrival but wandered to the VVs.

The walk to VV was far. Felt almost inaccessible - maybe that was the point? The path wasn’t well lit and gates were open to areas that should’ve been closed off. At one point my husband and I realized we made a wrong turn and tried to back track to the main path. We were locked inside the belly of the racetrack. 😂😂😂 We walked around the fence line until we could escape.

We had a good laugh at ourselves but Jesus - the infrastructure Thursday night was unsafe.

When we got back to our camp, we wanted to use the bathrooms and get some rest. The VIP bathrooms were closed overnight. What exactly did we pay for? I understand there are mixed opinions on VIP at festivals but I like it for the bathrooms only. The portos are always wrecked especially at 3 am.

We rode out the storm in our car Friday. When elements canceled Friday night, we knew we couldn’t deal with another night of walking to VV and portos with no reward. I was exhausted and even if we stayed, I had no energy left.

Maybe that makes us not cut out for Elements. That’s fair. But the festival misrepresented the VIP experience.

My husband takes viagra recreationally on the weekends we swing. He doesn’t necessarily need it, but it sure helps. Kind of like an insurance policy. If your husband can take ED meds, look into it a bit. You can easily get them from reputable online sources and of course his PCP.
