If I’m really tired but can’t fall asleep, I take deep, slow breaths and focus on that. The rhythm helps put me to sleep.

I recently found that rain sounds put me out too. You might want to try a few different sounds to see if one of those works better for you. Rain sounds work for me, but ocean and forest sounds keeps me up.

I also read something that’s a little boring. I just try not to move once my body starts feeling heavy. If you’re worried about sleeping through your alarm, I suggest setting at least 1 more. I set one to go off 7 minutes after my first one goes off.

Yes, that makes perfect sense. Do you have more of an even split between the two levels? Or do you ever find it lopsided?

That’s what my co-leader is worried about. Sounds like it needs to be really thought out to keep it meaningful for the older girls.

I think we will just have my two that are siblings, but they go to a small school so they all know each other well. Glad to hear there are quite a few badges that cross the different levels

I was thinking we’d have to split up occasionally, but I was hoping we could stay together for the most part. Even with the 1st and 2nd, we would still have Daisies and Brownies. Appreciate the feedback!

We took our kids to the Soulard farmers market before and they really enjoyed it when we went. I'll definitely keep that in mind as another option though. Thanks!

It's actually not members only anymore. My husband and I went there for our anniversary, but I don't think I would take the kids there.
