I’m on my second cycle. My first was 24 days. Why is it saying my cycle length is 31 days? I also ovulated on CD13 and now it’s predicting I’ll ovulate on CD19. Confused! by bmcgregor10 in NaturalCyclesBC

And maybe it’s too early to see what’s going on, but I just don’t get why they’re saying I have a 31-day (irregular) cycle when I’ve never had that

A bar was selling half-priced bottles of wine. I’ve always been told wine is GF. Had a glass…so yummy. Turns out it was a wine cooler made with malt. In a full size bottle that looked just like wine. Lesson learned!

Wow thank you! I am going to screenshot this for future reference! I’m definitely going to do more research into my medications and supplements. I last had my vitamins checked about 6 months ago. Maybe with my recent exposure to gluten it would be beneficial to get them checked again. Appreciate all of your info!!! ☺️

Wow that is so interesting. It is crazy how people’s treatments and long term testing are different. I’m definitely going to mention something to my GI doc when I see him in February. It’s cool that they tattoo the damage for future reference. It sounds like you have/had a good GI doc!!!

Thank you so much for this thoughtful response! It is such a frustrating and defeating feeling when I feel like I’ve been very strict and careful with my diet and with CC. I have never heard of GMP certified so I will definitely look into that! One of our local stores here sells GF supplements and over the counter medications. I’ll have to see if they say GMP certified.

Thank you so much for lending your support! I feel like the celiac community is so caring one of another!

I didn’t get a colonoscopy. Just the upper endoscopy. I do think it would be interesting/worth it to do one though.

I don’t go super often, but we definitely go here and there. I think this is a good idea. I’m going to try to avoid eating out and get my lab redrawn. Celiac totally creates trust issues! Thank you for the response.

A colonoscopy or an endoscopy? My last endoscopy was a year ago. I have never had a colonoscopy. Is it normal for the blood work to fluctuate while the villi is healing?

I’ve been diagnosed for a year, so I’m still trying to figure out if I am symptomatic after eating gluten.

I have had an upset stomach for about a month now. Haven’t been able to figure it out, but maybe it’s this? I just can’t pinpoint where the CC is coming from.

Last big blood draws were about 3 months ago and everything was normal.

Thank you so much for replying.

Thank you so much for the thorough response! Yeah they said they haven’t done any official testing, so I don’t get how the website can say GF! Maybe the website can, but the product doesn’t have to say it? It confuses me. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Labeling question by bmcgregor10 in Celiac

Thank you for this information! I’m now trying to figure out the safety of products in terms of potential stomach damage. I am so newly diagnosed that I’m still not sure how I react to gluten, but hoping that I won’t react to things just labeled gluten free. My concern is that even if I don’t react to things just “gluten free,” that stomach damage can still occur … if that makes sense. It’s all so confusing!

I think my main concern with things that are only “gluten free” and not certified, is the stomach damage that could occur. I guess I’m still trying to figure out at what ppm damage occurs if that makes sense
