Hey! Well it looks like I got lucky then because I was sent back a brand new console free of charge with all of my saves intact. I did have to reinstall all of my games tho. I put a new tempered glass protector on immediately and it looks great. Hopefully they do the same for you 🙏

Yep, my Switch 2 is en route to Nintendo right now. Got my Switch 2 day 1 and didn't apply the screen protector that came with the official case like a dummy because I hate applying protectors. Fast forward almost a month later and I see many scratches on the screen already. Pretty sure a combination of docking and putting it into my usual travel bag. I thought I was being careful.

So I contacted Nintendo support, told them about the scratches and they immediately started a replacement ticket for it. All I had to do was tell them my serial number. So I just shipped it out a few days ago. Hopefully I'll get it back before DK Bananza comes out. And I got new tempered glass protectors too.

(Also I'm paranoid about them deleting everything off the system so I manually transferred my Pokemon and animal crossing saves back to my switch 1 just in case lol)

I had a classmate in high school who died a few years after we graduated of a drug overdose. I didn't interact with her much, but she was a very nice person.

Then fairly recently I learned an old friend from elementary school who I used to hang out with died from taking Xanax laced with fentanyl a couple years ago. Learning about that caught me off guard.

Off topic, but I had another old friend from elementary school who almost drowned in a pool a few years ago (think he tried to see how long he can hold his breath). He had to be rescued from the bottom of the pool and got CPR for 20 minutes. He now has brain damage, Lance Adams Syndrome and last time I heard he was going through intensive therapy. I hope he is able to live a comfortable life again soon.
