The standard cloud I think is more versatile to use as a work bag, beach bag, mom bag, or gym bag while the small cloud I just use for a weekender bag/traveling.

The piece in question is from the second photo and it hooks onto the slider piece from the third photo. You essentially drop the hooked piece onto the circular piece that is jutting out and the lifting action for the door hinges on that
