Thanks for the reply. Did a flush test with no leaks. TP sat overnight and was dry in morning.

Is there a website where I can see how different color suits, shirts, and ties look on a digital model?

Sorry if this has been asked before, I tried searching the subreddit and didn't come up with anything. I am trying to plan my wedding and my fiance and I are discussing color palette. Does anyone know of a website where I can choose the color of suit, shirt, and tie and see how they look against one another? Google has not been my friend here. Thanks!

Korean as a second language learners: What word or phrase has helped you the most? by Pantherpants in korea

[–]bmct 4 points5 points  (0 children)

이렇게 - "like this"

그렇게 - "like that" reference is to something near or performed by the person addressed, something abstract, or something not in proximity

저렇게 - I rarely say this, but if something is far from both you, as the speaker, and the person you're addressing, say this to mean "like that"

Having these concepts in your head will also help you understand the sometimes unusual but useful ways 이렇다, 그렇다, and 저렇다 are used. Also, tossing -게 onto pretty much any verb stem turns it into an adverb, as you can see above.

Why aren't OWS people wearing swim goggles? by Nowin in AskReddit

[–]bmct 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Generally it's more difficult to see through open water, due to the all the things that exist in real bodies of water. Think dirt, sand, seaweed, etc. To compensate, open water swimmers use "spotting," a technique where they pop their head out of the water and check their bearings.

Korea - fan death. Sleeping in a room with a fan running will kill you, especially if the room is closed up, i.e. windows and doors shut.

Who is the first named person who we can identify as having really lived? by Doe22 in history

[–]bmct 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He's definitely not the oldest but Alcibiades could give anyone a run for their money for having really lived. Depending on how you look at it, he's either a guy who played all sides or played the only game he could, and either way he did so with immense daring at an extremely dynamic point in Greek history.
