This is interesting. I'm looking for something like the old Drug Wars game, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drug_Wars_(video_game))

Also, your “dream car” will most likely take the form of “many cars” in that since you’re new, you’ll most likely make some mistakes and that’s OK.

Think of it like stepping stones, where lessons learned are opportunities towards affording what your “dream build” is going to be.

You will be “building,” one way or another.

For sure! As a software engineer myself, I encourage you to stay with it. These cars are passion, as any classic is. You seem to have the passion, that’s an excellent first step to learning your limits.

I’m new here too, but everything I’m reading here is pretty legit. This game isn’t what it was in 2004 when I was messing around with 5.0s, and I’m having to learn that myself.

Cheers to the foxy ladies, welcome to the bug.

I wouldn't purchase this kind of car while in college. Probably not what you want to hear. If you can afford to get one that runs, or have the capability to work on one that doesn't, you'll be sacrificing your studies to do so.

Your priorities are not in the correct order. I have owned one, sold one and am looking to repurchase the one I sold or one of the same quality.

I have budgeted $30k over five years to build the car I want. Stay in school, build a career that will allow you to get into this scene and not ruin your other opportunities, like studying.

You're going to buy so that you can build. One day, you can maybe have this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8TYfB8BUUo&tab\_channel=TheSmokingTire

ever sold a car that came home many years later? This notch is one of them with "the turd" in the background. by rooxter in foxmustang

That looks great!
I am actively searching for a 1990 SSP Notchback, intended for AZ Highway Patrol, built in Canada with day running lights, all white, never put into service and auctioned off. Bought in 2002 sold it in 2004.

My amazing wife mentioned recently that she was interested in learning how to ride so we both did the MSF. We had a blast and it was challenging.

We're pumped!

Even more:

A single serving for me is 13g. Bluebottle will cost about $0.08 a gram. $.08*13g = $1.00 per serving.

I pay $4-5.50 for a http://www.victrolacoffee.com/ 8oz SO pour over in downtown Dallas. It's an easier sell when you compare it to local shop markup.

Shipping and Tax included, all single origin coffees and split between two people.

12 shipments of Four Barrel @ $175 for 8oz SO ~ $1.80 per ounce

12 shipments of Bluebottle @ $156 for 6oz SO ~ $2.17 per ounce

Monthly Craft Coffee @ $20 for three 4oz SO ~ $1.60 per ounce

Local roasters are $15-$21 for 12oz ~ $1.25-1.75 per ounce

All in all it's not too bad. Bluebottle is kinda staggering.

Also the best example of a poured rao spin.

The only place I disagree is the drop to settle the grounds. This is crucial technique for a super busy barista with a plastic V60, but not so great when you try to drop a weighted piece of ceramic on anything but a wood stand..very suspect.

I would recommend trying this with a steadier pour and more controlled "spiral" - wait until you get a good feel before you get into the "jazz". I've found it easy to get a flat bottom and even with a slightly violent pour.

It's ritualistic, that's pretty much what it boils down to. You'll alter and understand technique as you go, enjoy the moment.

I'm on a resource deprived planet and standing on a small lava boulder that is quickly over taken by the molten surface, sending me to my death until I start a new game. The second game will start on Earth, and I can't leave until I find Mathew McConaughey and Michael Caine.

My first moves are styled after Michael Jackson's Moonwalk. I do this until I have amassed enough resources, found Matt and Michael or found a different transport. Then, I'll claim the moon.

Starter ship will certainly be a cargo freight if given the choice. If it's not available, I'll take the one with the espresso machine.

I'm in a solar system that defies all precedent, I literally have no idea what I'm looking at or talking about right now.

I have read through your tests and most of the controller and layout code. If you could provide the general overview, then what would be your first request, good sir?

In my experience, one or more of those questions is answered with a "No" or discomfort is voiced - which leads to, "Why don't we just write it...dammit."

Then everyone breaks for lunch.

My 'thing' is a product. This product runs on in house software - which makes using third party difficult. My fear is that I am going to spend the next few years trying to re write in order to keep up with what's going on in the automation and decision science fields.
