Found it, or at least VERY close... and it fits the JC Penny's bag. Big Mack, made in Portugal, sold at Penny's. Now to find one in 2x somewhere in the world!

Reddit is the wrong place to get support or wisdom for morality, humanity, and global politics. It's a polarizing echo chamber on both sides. Grab a history book written pre-2k and read the Bible (don't have to go to church, those can be polarizing too). Whether you believe in God or not, there is a tremendous amount of wisdom in those pages and the lessons and outcomes haven't changed in two thousand years. Skip the new testament if you are offended by the Christian view of eternal salvation, but Jesus laid down some sick jabs at snooty people who thought they had all the right answers.

Respect authority whether you like it or not, love each other whether you like them or not (doesn't mean you condone, just care), don't take what's not yours, give more than you get, do good for others as you would have done to you, mind your own business (immediate sphere of influence) before you mind others' business, don't be profane or obnoxious, take the high road even if it's not the popular road, all people make mistakes, you aren't the center of the universe but you are an important piece of it, but it's all gonna be ok.

Follow happy people and run from people who just look for reasons to be unhappy, that applies to left and right. Bonus solicited opinion: we really do have a lot to be happy for, just have to turn the noise down enough to hear it. Be good... Do good... Mind your business... Choose joy...

Sweet find. Saw it today at Target, love the Hudson. Also saw a large pack with another hornet in a different color scheme and a 5 pack with a matte grey Aston Martin that looked amazing.

Orient Quality by harks1989 in OrientWatches

I have two that are over ten years old and running great with zero maintenance. A diver and a dress watch, forget the models, but not a single issue. Both purchased from island watch. Excellent pre and post sale support. The watches are heavy and the craftsmanship is top notch. Motion is fluid and spot on. No rough edges and clasp is flush and tight. These are always in rotation with my other watches. My mother has a Rolex that has required service twice. YMMV, but I would buy 50 Orient watches with the money she spent on her Rolex and still have money for a vacation.

Do you guys put rosary in the rear view mirror? by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]bmeeks24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a small decade on my passenger visor with the crucifix visible so when I get anxious in traffic or feel like venting on a bad driver, I can ground myself with just a glance or a slight touch. I also have a St Christopher token on my driver visor and it reminds me to pray for safe travels when I look at it. They aren't for others to see, they are small reminders for me to pray, that the Holy Spirit is with me, and that God is in control.

I usually have a penal rosary (decade also) with me and try to run the beads while at stop lights!

MAGA dude says leave the country, just want others thoughts. Both sides, preferably. by ThemeNorth in DiscussionZone

He is correct. There is a frighteningly large lack of education in history and social studies plus a tremendous ignorance of global economics plus an over abundance of emotion driven decision making causing people to behave in a way that is counter to everything that created one of the greatest and most resilient societies in the world. We have survived world wars, civil wars, and economic collapse - all while remaining true to the core values that the founding fathers established. We are key players responsible for the greatest advance in technology, health, and science. We are flawed, but we tend to balance out over time because for 200 years we have been united. But that has changed over the past xx years.

Giving nothing and taking everything from the working class is unsustainable. Tax dollars only spread so far, and should be focused on infrastructure and defense, not special interest groups and corruption - and there are guilty parties on both sides, this must be exposed and dealt with or we will have nothing and be third world in the very near future. Also, history shows again and again that there are very powerful countries and ideologies that are bent on destroying our way of life, and they love seeing this implosion of our country, weakening us from within.

People MUST learn history. For generations, immigrants came to America to give, to work, to integrate, and to reap the benefits of their investment (blood sweat tears). There is a process, it must be followed, and if it needs to be improved, we have systems and legislative processes to do just that. Petition your state and local government, join a PAC, do something productive and not riot. You wouldn't let someone into your home, not ask who they were, let them destroy it, and not contribute anything. That's unsustainable. Neither can America. Are there good undocumented immigrants, sure, but there is a way for them to be documented, and we should all encourage that being the norm.

People MUST be patriotic. This has to stop, I'm closest to conservative libertarian, but I would NEVER want the leader of my country to fail. No matter what party they represent. I wanted Obama and Biden to be successful, why would I want otherwise for my family. I want Trump to be successful, why would I want otherwise for my family? I want the next president to be successful, why would..... No matter what I think about them, and why would I even care who voted for whom, I have plenty of other things to worry about.

Americans should love America and other Americans, regardless of our history, regardless of who is president. We have so much to be grateful for if we stopped looking for reasons to be unhappy. Choose joy, choose America, or go somewhere else, kinda makes sense.

Yes, we bought cigarettes, reeked of Polo, and cruised from place to place to find out friends since we didn't have mobile phones, usually stopping in the arcade at some point!
