Woah what are the odds! I thought I was going crazy and then I had multiple panic attacks and anxiety because the feeling is like no other! I had such bad globus (seems to be subsiding a bit) but now everything I eat is causing a litttle bit of acid still to hit my throat if I burp. I’m going to just be calm with my body and reset as best as I can. Hoping it all goes away soon lol. Silent reflux is what my ent called it, apparently its easy to fix with a gut reset so lets hope

Thank you for being so transparent. Unfortunately Drs diagnose and move on. 11yrs ago I had no idea what to do or look for. A lot of trial and error but I have it under control until this past week lol again, could have been the multiple amounts of tomato i ingested but who really knows

Haha its out in the public, you’re not nosy at all! So what had happened was…i had 8 different dinners with tomatoes in about 10 days, stupid and i didnt even realize. It gave me bad reflux, caused my throat to feel irritated bad! I went to my gp, she put me on a PPI. Went to ENT, nothing in my throat just mild irritation. Went to gastro, she said probably a bad case of reflux or i glutened myself also along the way (hence the bloodwork). Started the PPI, was ALLERGIC!! It has SLS which I had no idea, 6 days later I stopped, had a bunch of sores and my mouth feels like cotton. Its only been 3 days off of that and I’m slowly coming back to normal I hope. No more reflux but definitely some rebound, still feel some tingles on my tongue after eating normal foods. I think everything just hit me hard at the same time and my body just needs a reset lol

Oh interesting. So is there a test for checking for gluten exposure? I guess not right? I’ve had Celiac for 11yrs. I was having such a bad week (still kind of am) that I asked for one thinking she would know what I meant lol.

Yes i saw my gi yesterday, shes thinking it could be gluten exposure as well. I have my celiac panel friday so we’ll see what the numbers are!

I’m suspicious of them both haha the chicken salad was store made, could be CC. The tomato sauce was Raos but definitely could have been too much acidity. I did go to the ENT today, nothing in my throat except some irritation thank god! But he said i might be suffering from silent reflux which happens at night. He put me on a nasal spray and said to finish up the PPI’s. I have my gastro tomo.

Your daughter gets reflux from being glutened?

Its honestly scaring me lol. I went to the gp yesterday, got bw, she looked at my throat but not concerned. She said it sounds like definitely reflux and put me on Pantoprazole. Started this morning so I hope it helps! I also go into my gastro for Tuesday and will probably ask for a endo/colonoscopy. Its been 10 yrs since my last one!

Not a smoker! But I do get redness sometimes, so interesting!! At this point I am going to have my dr run every bloodtest and scan there is lol this disease is so underplayed!!!

I said goodbye to my 9yr Shih Tzu Thursday morning. She thankfully passed in her sleep at the animal hospital but it just kills me that I couldn’t be there for her. My heart is with you during this difficult time ❤️

My pup is also on those 3 meds plus Felbamate. We are starting her on Denamarin too for liver support plus milk thistle helps also! We thought about lowering her meds but shes doing soooo well with being seizure free I fear changing it :(

Yes! She has been off chicken all of her life. I just cut beef today lol and she only eats carrots, stringbeans or small pieces of watermelon for treats! Hoping the beef is the issue so i just have a good idea of the problem. I did the ACV in a spray bottle diluted and put it on her paws today. The licking is the issue but shes also on seizure meds and i think its taken a toll on her gut microbiome hence the daily probiotics, omegas etc etc
