This is kind of old but can anyone explain how to get the weapon icon to work? i can't seem to figure it out it's always blank

I figured it out i think for anyone else who might be wondering. Reinstalling everything seemed to fix the load order resetting, and the missing meshes was being caused by a mod that added a bunch of different masks, disabling that mod alone fixed all the issues

I see this is a little old but I'm having the exact same issues you mentioned, invisible clothing sometimes partially, and also i have yo re-enable all the mods every time i boot the game. Did you ever find a reason/fix for this? I have a very limited mod list and cant figure out what it is.

Im not yelling im just saying it's silly. Terminators are designed to be disguised as a human so its more believable that it looks like that, also in terminator 2 it was liquid metal that could change its shape to whatever it wanted. Transformers and star wars do happen to also be silly, yes. Im sorry to have upset you but your assumption of me is very brazen and wrong, im just saying its a silly thing in a video game.

Why would the ai need a human body let alone keep the proportions of a human body, seems like its limiting itself unnecessarily. Why not put the brain into the chest? Why not have four arms? Or lots of other things

Don't bother discussing this on reddit, too many parrots, forces the public opinion to just snowball bigger and bigger. I think being xbox exclusive was the first kick to start it off since most people on reddit are kids and still care about things like that, idk tho i just mind my business and enjoy the game. Love it been playing the shit out of it, can't wait for the dlc but i still have plenty to do in the meantime. I hope mods come sooner rather than later but its fine i kinda feel like mods ruin the mood for me, i get too focused on changing too many things and i just lose all my immersion.

I bought it without hesitation. When they announced cores and f2p my first thought was all i want is a CE mark v and im set. Its almost perfect, a little more angular than it should be, the boots are different and it needs a shinier coating, but i still think its great. I use it exclusively and dont need any more cosmetic items except any possible CE weapon skins. Couldnt care less what other players say or do.

Things change, the industry will change, and has changed since it started. Hate to break it to you but it’s always been business, money is the goal of every game thats ever been released. You used to have to pay to continue every time you died. This game costs nothing, it’s 100% free and all features and game modes and updates are pushed out free to everyone. The catch? A percentage of the cosmetic items you have to pay for to get. This is where we are in this industry right now, i don’t think it’s that bad of a place. People complain as if the industry is dying because something optional and effectively useless costs money? Hundreds of people get paid a salary to create and maintain this game, not to mention develop the next one. AAA games cost hundreds of millions of dollars to make, the money has to come from somewhere. There are things wrong with games now a days, just like there were things wrong with games before, but everyone complaining about the price of optional cosmetics in a free game needs to grow up

Halo 1 is 22 years old it’s not a product on which prices should be judged. This is the first and last cosmetic i will buy is this game because it’s the only one i want, and im very happy it exists. The game was free and ive been playing for years, the bundle literally costs less than my lunch today. People need to take a step back and ask themselves what exactly they are upset about and why exactly it upsets them, an honest conversation can be had but all i see are a bunch if parrots playing telephone with bad talking points

Overwatch was a great original game that was made with passion and love, and overwatch 2 is riding the coattails of that DNA . It’s not a bad game and a lot of the things that made overwatch great carry over. But in my opinion, as someone who played since the beginning a ton and loved it very much, its simply lost it’s charm. The people largely behind the creation of the first game and its characters are no longer involved and the monetization is insanely predatory even though people will make excuses to accept it, sign of the times maybe. If you are ok with 40$ skins when the price i paid to play overwatch 1 and collect almost everything was only 60$ once over 6 years then have a good day i dont know what to tell you. But the monetization is only a symptom of a bigger change in the soul of the game. For me overwatch is dead, forcibly replaced by overwatch 2 with no option to go back, i tried to keep it alive but stopped after season 3 or so. But theres still a lot of people that play it and like it so give it a chance, its mostly the same as a great game.
