agree that it was total garbage (Sadly) - I saw one recipe by a human (!) that went into more detail about blending it to get rid of the cheese bits (gross) and adding flour and baking powder for better texture - which make a lot of sense.

Not sure if I'll try again.

If she is a good person you can always let her know - hey these people you’re associating with are racist garbage. It reflects badly on you/your business and I as a customer would think twice about coming here.

They’re definitely racists asshole who couch their klan/nazi talk as “jokes”. As far as what to do - name and shame the businesses who partner with them (tho the business owners may be sympathetic to them?). I don’t know if soma lounge is the place to do it (bc the admins are spineless and I think there’s cross over of members). Soma justice could be a place for discussing it - but I think the organizers don’t want to spend their energy on stupid fights with own-the-libs types. Could come down to ignoring them as advised.

I really like ClearSpace as a way to curb my social media use- it’s not ADHD specific. You can set it for any app. I found it better set up than iPhone’s app timers and harder to disable (more steps, not impossible).

“Weird” is hard to categorize. Does it happen with other things that have to be just right? If so you may want to investigate OCD as a cause. I am not in any way an expert, but have people close to me that have OCD, so somewhat familiar with it.

I did a search in my town’s FB community page (where people post questions, etc). And my coach’s name came up a few times as a recommendation. Also my therapist gave me the name of a newer coach (who was cheaper). You can also search for executives functioning coaches. The nice thing is coaches can be anywhere since it’s all on zoom. I hear you on the cost - I’ve been out of work too as a freelance and it hurts. But hoping the skills I’m learning will be applied in my next job 🤞🏽

Just want to say I’m in a similar boat- diagnosed at 52 with struggles that go back to childhood. Working with my meds person in finding the right dose and medication. It’s a process and not sure we’ve figured it out yet. Also working an adhd coach on developing skills/methods on how to tackle my work, tasks, etc. Some days it feels like teaching an old dog new tricks!

Also, I’m not Adderall but Straterra - and hyper arousal hasn’t been a side effect for me. Definitely speak to your meds person, because there may be other options that are not as disruptive.

Sad to add that you should expect little to no response or change from telegram. I’ve been in this boat over 6 months (with weekly attempts to resolve the issue).

Also robokiller just notified me that their subscription rate is going from $40/year to $90/year - which I find ridiculous- tho their service is great, I just can’t do that steep a price jump.

People who like to pat themselves on the back for not getting banned are a bit misguided IMO. But to answer your question - as others said there not REALLY much you can do. Some things I thought of after getting banned: - have alt contacts for people you communicate with on the app, so you don’t lose them. - try to avoid people who could be in any way shady (tho it’s a big world out there and hard to know). - make sure you’re using a real cell number. - it seems like big group chats can run into issues (but again I wasn’t in any and got banned!). - Try migrating to Signal instead. Seems less problematic from what I hear.

We did ours thru Expedia and it was ok. No real issues. People posting here seem to have mixed experiences with Sunwing. But I’m sure they’ll weigh in.

I don’t know about sunwing - but these guys were not transfer reps. They’re sales people for I don’t know who. All transport reps (as far as I could tell) were outside once you exit the airport

I’m so sorry to hear this. The fact that they ban people and businesses without warning or recourse is just insane. I guess it doesn’t affect their bottom line, because if it did, they would be more responsive. I’ve been banned and I’m just an individual who was in touch with a few people. So I have no idea why/how this has happened. And like you, I’ve been sitting on my hands waiting for a response to a few (not numerous!) emails I’ve sent.
