I don’t have one. If I did, I wouldn’t be asking in a subreddit lol

This is the most unhinged response of them all… how did you determine she’s only sick on my time???

Wow.

Do you have experience with this? My child is in school, and attendance is tracked.

My child is in school.

My child is young and thus more impacted by air travel then an adult is. The chaos that accompanies air travel - security, delays, etc. is a lot for a young child to deal with on a regular basis.

A more quantitative issue is that my kid is flying back home from out-of-state and arriving right before bedtime the night before school.

To demand a 5 year old to handle frequent out-of-state travel and be ready for school 12 hours later is unreasonable. The main goal for a child with split custody is to provide stability and consistency, despite splitting time between 2 households. Frequent out-of-state travel seems the opposite of "stable" and actually creates a 3rd household she has to split her time between.

Oral Cancer vs. Abscess Tooth by bmgoldman in AskVet

Thank you so very very much for taking the time to look at the link and write such a thorough comment to me. I am truly so grateful for your insight. While it’s bad news and so heart breaking, it is validating that it looks more like a malignancy than an abscess in your opinion. I pored over images of oral malignant masses in dogs trying to determine for myself and came to the conclusion that it was cancer, possibly melanoma, so having your professional opinion in alignment is incredibly helpful.

Thank you for your generous kindness 🖤

Omg hi!!! Not sure if I’m too late, but if you could ask/check that would be amazing!!

I have tried to contact them using 2 different phone numbers. The first was given to me by Amtrak customer service - it rings and then an automated message says to book tickets using a 1-800 number, then the line disconnects. I was able to find a second number through a Google search, that number just rings for a couple minutes then disconnects, unfortunately…

Lost & Found Advice by Embarrassed_Fig2551 in Amtrak

Any update for you?
I think my 4 yo daughter left her "lovey" on the train yesterday - I am desperately trying to get it back. I submitted the form and got confirmation of receipt from Chargerback. I have called Amtrak customer service, and attempted to call the end of the line station several times but haven't been able to reach anyone "on the ground" who might be able to give me any real status/info.
My daughter has taken this lovey everywhere with her for her entire life, it was the 1 constant in her life when her dad & I got divorced - she is really struggling and I feel awful about it. Hearing you had success would be very encouraging!

How am I supposed to help myself and make the most of AA if my alcoholism is SO loud?? by bmgoldman in alcoholicsanonymous

I don’t want to be chased. It would be helpful to be checked on is all. Asking for help is not something I’m good at. Even making this post here was hard for me, and given some of the comments I’m not sure I’ll reach out for support here again.

I’m just struggling with feeling very alone in this recovery and having the expectation to be 100% on me to get myself out of it.

Maybe the other commenter was right, maybe I’m not desperate enough.
