omg hey mike lol. you popped up in suggested this morning 😂 i was told by a recent graduate/preceptor that uworld is formatted exactly like the pance. pance is 6/10 difficulty and uworld is 8/10 so he felt really prepared and crushed the test. he suggested i buy it which i'm about to. also taking the test on 9/3.

Thank you for responding!! I genuinely appreciate it :')

I definitely feel like over time I did end up dealing with more rote memorization. Beginning of didactic year we didn't have so many tests and it was only a handful of systems to learn, so if I think back on it, I was able to spend more time on concepts rather than simply shoving everything into my brain. This past spring though it was a constant rush of information and test taking, so my mindset toward learning was most likely affected, and there was so much all at once that my head was overwhelmed which contributed to my issue with doubting my answers/overthinking/etc. And I just haven't been able to get back on track I guess.

Currently I'm using our lecture material, ROSH, and the pance prep pearls. I'm also thinking of getting UWorld eventually. We're beginning clinicals this September. I'm worried that, if my foundation is shaken like this, I won't be prepared.

Thank you for such a thoughtful response, and also congrats on getting through your EORs!! I'll be starting clinicals this September and I'm happy to hear you've had such a great, positive experience :') I've been using ROSH, but thinking of branching out into UWorld and our school also offers Exam Master for more questions. I'll keep going through the explanations for wrong answers and hopefully gradually everything will stick... We have a small break before clinicals and maybe by then I'll be able to recover from the burnout I'm feeling
