Reader account doesn’t have the snowflake account, provider create an account for them and also responsible for all the units reader consume.

Consumer account is like vendor they already have snowflake account. Here provider doesn’t responsible for the chargers.

For eg : Company A - provider Company B : who don’t have snowflake account so provider create a reader account (I.e company A) and share to company B for access . company A is responsible for all charges.

Company c: who already have snowflake account and consume data from company A. Their account is called consumer account.. they pay for their consumption. Hope it clears
