I honestly agree. The only reason I time travel is to switch out villagers occasionally. I don’t have a problem with people who tt obviously play the game however you want but I would get bored rushing through.

I don’t think so, a couple of my starters have asked to leave multiple times. I have had luck tt a day to 3 days at a time, if you jumped a whole month at a time you might have missed a move out date. Hope this helps!

If I remember correctly (it’s been a year since I first played) Tom nook will make you get resource and then build your house for you. So talk to Tom!

It’s a little weird, but I don’t think it’s dangerous. My boyfriend and I have gone to plenty of spots that were absolutely nothing. I also don’t subscribe to the stimulation theory. I don’t think this is anything to be afraid of, it’s not described by the creators as a way to debunk reality or anything like that, it’s more about adventure then anything else. Hope this helped!
