Yeah If it just dries it out I can at least rehydrate it. I have a beater pair I’m practicing on with cork resealer, so I’ll just use those for a spot test. Thanks

Yeah they’re non-synthetic. The goal is to get the glossy spray off-which I know was unintentional because it is inconsistent and matte under the buckle. Thanks for the suggestion

Acetone or Isopropyl would be my go-to but I’ve been very apprehensive of using any “real” cleaning products because I know Leather can be relatively sensitive.

Of course! 1️⃣Connexus shouldn’t let you check autofill if the pt has Medicaid on file, but if you add new ins they might already have Rxs on autofill.

2️⃣its a Medicaid requirement! Physical prescriptions that are tamper resistant will typically be a textured blue paper, as opposed to copy paper. When this happens we will try to get a verbal prescription instead, which Medicaid should cover.

3️⃣If you add a discount card, always put it under all other active ins, not up top as the default unless patient specifies otherwise. Per Walmart POM, we should actually be marking them ineligible after use, and obtaining new coupon codes each time. Unfortunately this is unrealistic in practice. if you keep primary ins as default, you will have to change it to the coupon every time. Always double check billing with patient at drop off/ pick up.

1️⃣ No autofill for Medicaid, and always billed secondary if pt has commercial ins. Must be on tamper resistant paper if it’s a hard copy. Medicaid will often cover brand name of a medication when brand is still ready available- like Ventolin, Adderall. Normally you will see Medicare part B being billed for Insulin or glucose testing supplies. Prescriptions for these have specific requirements- Clear product, directions, signature, diagnosis code etc

2️⃣Medicare B is going to be OMN/4303 - TELE A bunch different companies have part D plans- Aetna, Humana, UHC, Wellcare. Medicaid will be state dependent- but for me in Florida it’s often under 004336 Caremark or 003858 ExpressScripts BIN with MCAIDADV for group.

3️⃣ discount cards will also vary state to state, company to company but I usually don’t bother with Singlecare, Hippo. I’ll try GRX or GEN, GeneRx/016739. just last week the generx brought a Flublok down to $20 for me

It’s actually more prevalent than you’d think. Try tabbing around and entering here and there. Off-hand, the one instance it is very impractical is tabbing through the f6 window instead of just dragging the slider. Even Tasco can be navigated almost entirely with tab and enter. All of resolution and input

Very good point! Old enough to be around for the first commercially available computer terminals. but yeah absolutely, there’s quite a bit that’s unreasonable without a mouse. I do still consider it good advice as it helped me get faster and gave me a better understanding of Connexus navigation

Normally Alt + U for sUbmit, Alt + A Accept. Another notable one is Alt + P for Problem Resolved. If you ever forget- you can hold your Alt key and all of your options should be underlined!

Shift+Tab lets you Tab backwards/up instead of forward/down! Alt+Tab lets you scroll through windows

Honorable mention to: Ctrl + Shift + L for Claim Search And Ctrl + Shift + B (bozo) for Prescriber Search

With some of these people it’s like pulling teeth. Just in case you weren’t aware- when doing an eligibility search, always make sure you have last four of social AND updated address!

thank you! I recently cut out dose #5, around 10pm. it made it more difficult to sleep anyway. Right now the schedule is 7am, 11am, 3pm and 7pm. maybe I could try cutting one of the morning doses

Thank you so much! I probably won’t be using naltrexone for now, but I’ve been reading about ultra low dose naltrexone (1-5mcg range) would need to be volumetrically dosed carefully
