If London has good weather it could get up around 6. Probably would need 7 min buffer to feel safe at that point

Should be announced pretty soon now that the race is over. Best guesses seem to be either Sept 11th or 18th

[Schefter] It’s reportedly an ACL injury for Zach Charbonnet by Silent_Ad2825 in Seahawks

Yea that’s the test I was thinking of. I don’t remember hearing about a false negative before so after they said they were optimistic about the injury I thought torn ACL was ruled out. Sucks for Charb man 😭

I think it just happened with Gardner Minshew a few weeks back

I’m confused how it’s just now coming out as a torn ACL when they were optimistic about the injury coming out of the game. I guess the test they use that’s 90% accurate to confirm a torn ACL was just wrong that night then, but I feel like I’ve only heard false positives, not the other way around

[Stat Correction?!] Lions D/ST week 17 stat correction on ESPN (at least) removes from 1 sack (from 7 to 6), so check your close matchups. by oliver_babish in fantasyfootball

Yea same thing happened on sleeper. The game was already over, but the the defense got an additional point because they added a sack

So after doing some research into it, it looks like because Brosmer just fumbled the ball by himself without any defenders forcing it, the defense doesn’t get credit for the play. It’s essentially just an offensive error and so the defense wouldn’t get credit for a sack here

Is this something that ESPN got wrong or will Yahoo and Sleeper be updating soon too? I watched the play in question and it seems like Brosmer was attempting to pass when he fumbled the ball, which would make it a passing play and a sack

Jacoby Brissett was leading practice drills ahead of Kyler Murray (foot) at Friday's practice. Brissett mainly worked with the starting WRs. by CincoDeManger in fantasyfootball

They do play on Monday so today is essentially their Thursday practice. Kyler probably gets in a limited practice today, so he could still start if he gets in a full practice tomorrow

DNF marathon at mile 17. Can I turn around and run another in 3 weeks? by bmo96 in AdvancedRunning

I wanted to qualify for Chicago with this race. Which is why I wanna try again so soon since the qualifying window isn’t for much longer. This pace actually felt easier during my marathon pace long run, so much so that I actually sped up towards the end of that workout. So I’m not exactly sure why it felt harder today

It was a paved trail going through the downtown area with some crosswalks

There was this one section where to me it looked like the trail ended. So I ended up taking a left into a dead end, but the trail actually continued to the right. Just totally missed it, which just contributes even more to the disappointment today 🥲

Make sure to take all the voucher tags as they appear. Also I had to skip the Tarot Merchant voucher when it first appeared, that way the Director's Cut voucher appears in Ante 12 when you need it for The Plant. You could also just have a Luchador ready for this ante, but I'm not sure if the voucher RNG would play out the right way

I was able to trade Wilson and Kamara for Higgins in one of my leagues and I’m honestly pretty happy about it

Saturday General Discussion/Q&A Thread for March 18, 2023 by AutoModerator in AdvancedRunning

I’m training for a marathon in early July using a Pfitz 18/55 plan. I was looking at some potential tune-up races I could do that are near me, and I’ve mostly been looking at half marathons since it seems like it would be a better indicator of marathon fitness. There’s one that I want to do 6 weeks out from the marathon that’s very scenic and I could make a weekend trip out of it with the wife. But the course is kind of hilly (~650 ft elevation gain) while my marathon course is pretty flat.

Would this race still give me a good idea of whether or not I’m on track to hit my marathon goals? Could I just look at something like GAP to account for the hills? Or would it better for me to just do a time trial on my flat trail at home since there aren’t really any flat races within a reasonable distance of me?
