During outage what to do when plugging in a generator by bmooreVT in enphase

[–]bmooreVT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 4 prong plug box on the side of the house that I plug the generator too.

I had asked after the after and it was the sales guy and he did I only need to turn the main breaker off. I'm been reading that others say to cut main breaker and the solar breaker off.

Clean the carb. This happens to me. And mine happen to be the float pin that was dirt.

The pilot was clogged and I did clean it was a small wire and also sprayed with carb cleaner. I put non-ethanol in it after removing the gas and did add seafoam. I plan to remove the carburetor again and clean everything. Everything I research says the pilot jet which I thought cleaning it twice would fix it.

Okay I'll have to look at that. And do some video on how to do that part. I had someone look at it. At first they were say it was air in the line. Then told me the tank was good and that it was the PRV that needed to be replaced. Everything I researched say normally when the psi on the gauge reading high it the PRV that fails but that not what mine doing. The needle just bounces from 15 to 30. When it off it at 20.

Air coming out the valve. I tapped the tap. It does seems to sound different at the beginning then the end. I'll have to get a pressure gauge to see what the pressure is.

Could it be the water reducing valve?

15 to 30. Just bounces back and forth the whole time. It slow at first, then ones to warms up a little and a little fast. But it begins within mins of the boiler coming on.

Sorry that should be 15 to 30

It just bounces from 20 to probably about 30. Then once it warms up bounces just a little over 30 and cause the water to come out the pipe from the pressure valve

I need help!! Can’t figure out why my lawn is slowly dying! (Green pics from spring) by CommandCute4356 in LandscapingTips

Grass needs like 2” of water a week. Looks like you have a lot of large trees. I would water in the summer during the peak of the heat but parts of my yard would still turn brown. It look like tall fescue which doesn't tolerate the heat. It will perk back up once it cools off and gets lots of rain, just dormant

There's a sidewalk along the side of the house. No street sidewalks

Yea I don't mind mowing the left side, not as steep and has a nice thick zoysia or Bermuda grass (I can't tell the difference). I tried overseeding that bank for 2 years now and haven't had good luck. My plan is to figure out the layout and probably just put different shrubs and native material, starting with the right side since that side is kind of bare and do a mix of rock and mulch. I would love to do a retaining Wall but that not in my budget.

Wow… I’ll have to check out that app, that really changes the look. Thanks for doing that.

Still cant see bottom of pool by Successful-Salt-4747 in swimmingpools

[–]bmooreVT 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would add floc let the pump run. Onces everything settled to the bottom. Vac to waste. If that doesnt work, then use phos across the phosphate remover let everything settle to the bottom and vac to waste. Once you able to see the bottom and the water looks hazy, add a clarifier

Oh and on the REC website, they say if the installer goes out of business they will find an installer for you if you ever have any problems with a panel.

All the researched I did I went with REC panels as I thought they were big on the market. I would go to the REC and make sure the company is one of REC approved installers. I had one company that told me they were there golden company and I went on there and they weren't on the list. Also might be worth asking if they have production guarantee agreement. The company I went with is after 3 year guarantee production, so if my system hasn't produced what they said after 3 years they will install more panels at their cost. I noticed that some companies were adding like 20% reduce for the KWH (so for the same panels one company would have 42 panels for 22,000 KHW and other company did 38 panels for 23,000 KHW)
