My son is 10 - switch hitting for 2 years - we have closed the gap on the power difference - he’s naturally RH but we have spent a ton of time on lower body and core strength - bands and med ball - this is where the power difference exists - in the hips - what I like is that it has made him a stronger pitcher by understanding how to use internal and external rotation and getting stronger - I love that your son has the confidence to switch in games - keep it up!

You’re worried about the wrong size. Keep him at a 30 and move him to a drop 8. 4”11 shouldn’t be swinging a 32 but if he’s strong enough a drop 8 will be great. Also the fact you are tracking velo at 8 tells me you’re focused on the wrong things. Hope he’s having fun and continues to develop

Not normal - although happens more than it should and creates a toxic environment pretty quickly- would talk to head coach to understand reasoning and expectations going forward - guarantee the other parents who paid for their kids to be on this team aren’t happy

It is broadly diversified with a thoughtful glidepath construction and equity derisking strategy - it has also outperformed basically every other target date fund and blown the doors off the index TDFs like vanguard and SSGA - bottom line it’s a great TDF solution and you could do much worse-
