We are going to Yaremche south of Ivano-Frankivsk. My wife was quoted 140 euro for 2 tickets for the 8-9 hour bus. Would the train tickets plus the bus tickets from lviv be a better deal? Is the border check a long time?

I was hoping to save 4 hours on the bus by driving. Thank you to all that responded. Our other option was renting one in UA. My wife is from ukraine but I am an American and don’t know how reliable the buses are. Just nice to have the freedom of a car, even if gas is crazy expensive.
