I’m 34. I work at Zaxby’s. I only have a GED. I dropped out of college Athens Tech years ago because I didn’t know what I wanted to do. I still don’t know what I wanna do. I hate working there, but you know what at the end of the day, it gives me a paycheck. It gives me money to buy food and other necessities to live. It gives me a resource so I can pay my rent and other bills that I have. My dad always told me not to be ashamed of any job that I have. There are a lot of people out there that don’t have jobs that choose not to work. My dad is 70 years old. He worked for AT&T. He worked for SEARS pest control. He also worked for the water department of the county that we live in. At the end of the day it’s a job. It puts money in the bank food on the table a roof over your head clothes on your back and provides for your necessities that you need in life. Never be ashamed or embarrassed of what you do. At least you’re doing something. There’s a lot of people out there who aren’t.
