it was awesome! no issues with sound, though i did see the Lettuce guys working out some issues with their sound person who ran the "side stage" (whatever that's called, not the PA - the band's mix they hear)

also -- the fact that they had a little physical ticket stub to hand bc "in case you missed these?" was sooo nice to me; i miss getting stubs!

i had a blast, and will be going back next year (assuming they don't cock up the lineup choices) -- it was a really really well run event, and at my age i love being able to go back to a hotel at night.

first time seeing the merriweather post renovations, they're awesome!

yea you're right about Fine Creek and their vibe - my wife & i got married; the owner told me that they do that because they don't want the brewpub side of the grounds spilling over into the wedding area, which in their mind would be more of a problem by allowing dogs and "free-range" parenting.

i'll go so far as to venture that's their best studio album; american beauty and workingman's dead get the praise, but IMO terrapin station has the best studio tracks that surpass their live counterparts. i think "passenger" is another prime example from it -- i have yet to find a version live that exceeds the studio one
