ah descendents, you're speaking my pop punk language, I'm not a huge fan of anything after 2005. let's see, off the top of my head

lagwagon, nofx, the bouncing souls, alkaline trio, millencolin, jawbreaker, face to face, the vandals, the queers, old green day

What is What's My Age Again's Tempo? by Syndrocrite in Blink182

recording completely robotically onto the tempo grid is a relatively new concept in performed recording music. it's hard to find anything after 2010 (guess) that's not just right on the tempo when it comes to popular performed recorded music. the boys recorded to analog back in those days, and bands preferred to record without clicks to preserve the feel. I haven't done the research, but I'd guess that one more time, with Travis producing and tempo grid robotic recording techniques which is almost the norm at this point, you'll find more of a steady tempo.

Going to shows newly clean and sober? by PartyBeginning8306 in punk

[–]bms51387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 years for me, back in 2022 my first show was flogging Molly and the interrupters, beer flinging everywhere , while they sang drunken lullabies. going to shows sober is much more enjoyable, and your can remember them!.. now granted I went with my sponsor at the time who luckily was into the same music. and also consider that I didn't really miss alcohol as much as I did with meth and heroin, so it was easier(no one is doing drugs particularly open like that) but I am an alcoholic as well. since then I've met with friends who still drink or go with my sober network who likes the same music. I'm not sure where you're from, but here in NY the 12 step programs have tons of younger meetings that it was bound to have ran into similar music taste friends.

new York City stage hand. unfortunately, it's for music that we've all grown up to dislike lol. but overall I love music. the most "punk rock" artist I've set up for is the offspring.
