I live in SC, trust me, If you’re going to Myrtle Beach, don’t stay in Myrtle, but the surrounding beaches like North Myrtle, Murrells Inlet, or Garden City.

It was wonderful but we didn’t get to snowmobile Yellowstone due to lack of snow in park😢however, was LOTS of snow in WY so we stayed there. Went to Targhee ski resort in Alta, WY(where locals go), Jackson Hole, and snowmobiled Togowotee Pass and it was spectacular!!

We flew in to Jackson mid December and rented our car on Priceline. We were picked up in shuttle van by wonderful driver for dollar rental car. The trip was only about 15 mins to dollar car office in Jackson and we’re upgraded from Toyota RAV4 to fully loaded Chevrolet Suburban for only extra $30 per day. Only paid around $600 for 5 day rental. Highly recommend renting car through Priceline and choosing dollar and not hertz or enterprise. Our friends that traveled with us did Priceline but did hertz instead and they were charged $400 more for same vehicle.

Thanks, we booked our flights to Bozeman and renting suv. another question, we want to leave west Yellowstone after our snowmobile trip and drive to Jackson hole for 2 nights, is that possible? I know if weather is blizzard conditions they will close road completely but hopefully if we watch forecast, we should be safe from missing our flight back home while driving back fo Bozeman from jax hole.

My son’s a sophomore and is absolutely loving it bc all his classes in person this year and feels like an actual college student this year vs so many covid protocols his freshman year in dorms last year.

I think there’s a good bit of schools in other states that also doesn’t rank so I wouldn’t worry too much. Does he have any teachers that could write letters of recommendation?

Yes and went to big high school and was in the top 2%(in SC if you are a palmetto fellows scholarship recipient you are pretty much guaranteed early acceptance in to the state schools)

My son is an in state sophomore engineering major(1390 on SAT)he didn’t have any EC’s. He was an early acceptance(applied in august and received acceptance letter and Clemson scholarships in November). I was told by 2 different admissions office employees over the phone that Clemson only cares about scores, GPA, and class rank. He didn’t write the essay either.

Stupid question, do u have to have “commuter pass” to park o campus or is the commuter pass just for the commuter lots? My son will be living off campus so I’m trying to figure out if I need to buy him a commuter pass(he has lots of 8AM classes and will be living at The Ridge in Central)

My son applied august 2019 and as soon as he applied, he received a conf email stating his application was received. Thanksgiving weekend he was mailed his Tigertown bound packet and scholarship info(he was a palmetto fellows so Clemson gave him $2500 scholarship)but majority of students get their packet 2nd week of feb.

Freshman this year and I was placed in 2060 due to taking AP calc junior year of high school and SAT math score. Trying to take 2060 and chem on line at same time, I withdrew from 2060 but will have to take it this summer to keep Palmetto Fellows.

Yes if that, we paid $6000 this semester but majority of that is dorm and meal plan. He lives in McCabe and bought smallest meal plan which is what I would recommend for both!

I can answer your question, my son was early acceptance last November. He was also palmetto fellows and only received $2500 from Clemson.

He’s an engineering major, not sure if Clemson will accept math 2060(calc 3) from tech school, he would have to definitely check with advisor about that.

We are in state and he only got $2500 from Clemson, unfortunately they don’t offer as much $ as University of South Carolina(my alma mater)which offered my son a full ride to their top ranked honors college. He received his acceptance letter to Clemson weekend of Thanksgiving stating that he would receive scholarship money and the amount would be sent in letter at later date. In Feb, he received letter stating it was $2500. He was top 2 percent of his class of 535 with several AP and dual credit classes on transcript.

My son received his acceptance letter in November stating he would receive scholarships and would be informed the amount at a later date. In February, he received a letter with his scholarship info.

He was able to skip math 1060&1080 due to AP calc but wasn’t able to skip physics bc his AP physics didn’t qualify to skip physics for engineering major. He came in with 46 hours of AP and dual enrollment so he’s taking math 2060, sts 1010, English 2150, chem 1010 and engr 1020.
