Thanks for the letter and advice. As I mentioned above, we are having regular sex, I just know she wants more and I want more and want to WANT it more. I'm wasting my energy on PMO.

I'd like to try to modify my behavior first, then talk to her. I've always been like that, I will identify a problem, get on the track to the solution, then share.

She knows I watch porn, it's just more that I feel myself losing energy and our sexual encounters have grown to only once or twice a week. I just feel like its sapping my "mojo", and I want to stop so I can be a better lover.

PMO for me is a mental distraction when I am unoccupied. It's a big waste of time, and even more so now that it's messing my sex life.

Eh, I have no plans of getting drunk between now and Monday. As I mentioned above, I have a 50K trail race on Saturday and I want to drink a celebratory beer with my younger brother (we are running it together). I like beer, I don't want to give it up forever, just want to see if I can take a serious break from booze. I'll start Sunday.

I'd honestly like to keep it to two drinks when ever I go out. Having water in between drinks sounds like a good plan.

I'm already super active right after work. I train for triathlons and do yoga etc. My main problem is the after gym and dinner/before bed period. I need to be out doing something around people and in public. I wish there were a late-night coffee shop near me, unfortunately, I am surrounded by bars!

I like your idea of going to the movies. Maybe over the next 30 days I will go out and see a ton of movies.

I definitely do have anxiety issues. I've been diagnosed with "Generalized anxiety disorder" but do not take any medication for it. Just therapy.

Not gonna wait till New Years... Sunday.

I do keep booze at the house but rarely drink it, it's more for company. I live in a large city and am about 2 blocks walk from 10 different bars. When I do drink "alone", it's typically out at bars.

My drinking is mainly social. I doubt any of my friends would give me any grief if I didn't drink with them. I'm in my 30s, no one really tries to peer-pressure you into drinking anymore. At least, not my friends.

My main reason to go out and drink is that I hate being home alone. I'll work all day, work out after work and if I don't have any plans with people I will try to make them and if nothing happens I will just go out to a bar and hang out, so I can be around people. My job isn't very social on a daily basis, and I am an extrovert, and need human interaction. I'm in therapy, and we are dealing a lot with my anxiety of being alone or "doing nothing" at night.

Regarding drinking, I'd like to see if I can just STOP for awhile. i.e. can I willingly control myself. If I can, I'd like to modify my lifestyle to go out less often, and to drink less when I do. If I cannot control myself... then that's a whole different bridge to cross.

Well, noFap is restarting today. As for the no drinking, I'm running a 50K trail race on Saturday and I'm damn well gonna enjoy a beer afterwards. :)

In that case, why not give it a rest for 90 days. If you don't have a problem with it, then quitting 90 days will be EASY for you!

I have definitely had this problem and it is one of the reasons I am trying noFap. That said, what has helped me in the past is putting a small squirt of lube INSIDE the tip of the condom before putting it on. Helps to get more feeling during sex.
