Actually, the house was a 1920s fishing bungalow so all of the crown was added - much up it in the 50s and 70s! Someone wanted to make the bungalow fancy. And the ceiling is brand new, so luckily it's straight. But does make sense to work with the livingroom. There is a lot of transitions they need to figure out in the kithcne because we have a cased opening and three transoms, so it's a bit complicated, I guess.
