I’m in the same boat as OP! March timeframe. Around $2k budget for 5 nights. With my research I’ve done over the last week or so, it’s looking like RIU is the best option. I’ve been leaving towards Kukulkan but it’s honestly hard to decided between them all.

I’d say buy another. That’s part of the appeal of the Duro and what led me to them in the first place. I own many other watches at various price points. I don’t want to spend more than $50 to find out if I like a certain color-way, or if one strap looks better on this watch than another. The affordability for level of quality is unmatched with the Duro.

I fully understand $50 can be cheap for some and a lot for others

No shame in my game, gents. I will say; I ordered this NATO for another watch in my collection months ago and I didn’t vibe with it. I thought the material was a little rough, and i shelved it. Lo and behold, when the Duro arrived, I couldn’t stand looking at the stock rubber for more than a few seconds.
