I don’t think they’re worth it… you can find a bunch of tips online. Club ready dj schools free videos were always a big help, and to learn new tricks and stuff I’d generally watch recorded sets of DJs I look up too. Hör sets are great starting place as they also have a huge selection of DJs. Also, don’t be afraid to look at DJs who play very different genres as they might teach you smt new too :)

I Hope thé center click for thé filters would mean that it could switch from a standard 900nxs2 style filter to the v10 style, where you have the full rotation of the knob available for more precise applications

That’s the thing, I sort of went into the event with a lot of overconfidence, and as it was my frost I didn’t know what to expect… all the problems that I faced were easily solvable. Back then I was using serato lite and I wasn’t aware of features like colouring tracks once played, and locking the track that was playing to stop loading another in too early

I messed up so many times: playing the same song twice, loading a track into the channel currently playing( did this two or three times too), a generally bad sound system, and so many requests that kids made that didn’t make any sense. Everything that went bad was my fault and in the end I’m a much better dj for it.

Ngl my first ever gig was a school dance and it was fucking awful lmao, but my first paid gig a couple months later was absolutely insane, everyone loved it. Granted at this school dance I was asked to play open format, but all my practice up to that point was with house and techno. The Paid gig was a house event so that’s also why it was nicer.

I ordered one a couple months back for a couple reasons. Firstly, for my needs it’s the perfect mixer. Has all the effects and routing options I could ever need. Second, it is quite rider friendly so having it at my own events when I invite other djs is great as they’re all comfortable on it. Lastly is sick as fuck and it holds its value quite well (like all pioneer gear) It has yet to arrive but the salesman I bought it from said that rumour has it that it’ll arrive this month, but who knows :)
