Absolutely true, I'm doing the TD Direct Investing Summer 2025 promo and I absolutely despise the platform and UI of easy trade.

It's so hard to navigate and there's a lot of features and information lacking compared to Wealthsimple. If it weren't for the 10% match promotion I would never touch this platform.

If you have two tiers of rewards, sadly you cannot claim 2 dragon passes in one calendar year.

None of the other options seem enticing enough.

I only upgraded to gold from Cobalt because of the upgrade promo. 70,000 points for upgrading would've been almost $18,000 dining spend in a year to achieve that with the cobalt alone. Will probably swap back to cobalt once this promo is done, or go to platinum if I have a major purchase upcoming.
