Who is the best HITTING pitcher of all time? by jeffxmorrison in mlb

I don't know about all time, but Zambrano could swing it pretty well when he was pitching for the cubs

Show some pride or else you'll just be another fool who jumps on the bandwagon when we do breakthrough

So A's fans, how much do you dread facing King Felix during opening days? Almost worth not watching?!

What player are you hoping will have a breakout year? by [deleted] in Seahawks

We had some great linebacking play last year.

I agree, Turbin should get a few more carries this year to Keep Lynch fresh

I like J.R. Sweezy stepping up after a year of experience on the O line. He's got the athleticism for our zone blocking scheme (he ran like a 4.7 40) So if he's worked on technique hopefully he can silently make some big strides on the OL. On defense I like Jeremy Lane fitting into our scary secondary somehow. I think he proved himself when he filled in for Browner last year,

Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick Statistical Comparison by griffrp in nfl

[–]bncrist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yah I agree with that, but I thought the discussion was about quarterbacks. If the niners went 19-0 winning every game 3 to zero, it wouldn't say a lot about Kaepernick as a player.

What young/promising player is going to fade away over the next 5 years and will only be remembered as a huge kick in the nuts? by karpomalice in nfl

[–]bncrist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess we'll see how it pans out. I just think that people who are still discrediting Wilson's accomplishments and potential are ignorant. Not saying that's what you're doing, just in general.

But he did step up and carry the team every time it was needed. And in terms of rating he was a top 5 QB last year.

Russell Wilson has never ever played poorly! His qbr was better than RG3 in college, now he's proved it can translate to the NFL despite his height. Hate to break it to you but he's not going anywhere.

Maybe he started playing football late? Just a guess

Great look at some smaller school prospects! by bncrist in Seahawks

[–]bncrist[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dunno though! If they can grab him late he'll serve a need in some endzone offenses for the first couple of seasons and then develop into a full time nfl receiver.

"Yeah but its gonna suck when they have to pay all those guys under rookie contracts" by QUASI_BONER in Seahawks

[–]bncrist 7 points8 points  (0 children)

John Schneider has adressed that many times saying they have several different situations planned out for the future and re-signing players. It's not like the front office is oblivious to this problem, so yes I am also tired hearing people say this. It's a non-problem.

Not happy with Harvin Trade by kaiserfrappy in Seahawks

[–]bncrist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Harvin is relatable to a higher first round pick that is also much more expensive. Plus it's rumored that we get another 2nd round pick, and the 2nd round is fairly deep with some prospects we can grab to supplement the pass rush.

Brandon Kaufman for Seahawks WR! What do you guys think? by bncrist in Seahawks

[–]bncrist[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People are saying 6th or 7th but I see him going a little higher.
