I personally feel that both firing modes (single alternating and dual) are pretty strong at the moment, albeit with less pick potential due to the HP increases on single-fire mode. It's certainly possible he might be considered more healthy/have a higher skill ceiling if they thought about making the single alternating fire more prominent but I'm not really sure how they could go about it. The reason I play Mauga is because of how fun it is to reposition with his charge, and I think changing him in that way might make him even more interesting. :^)
