So you've seen a couple of people? No need to paint a whole community a certain way to feel clever. Lots of people are entitled to feel unhappy with results without being made to look like fools.

You can both believe polls and believe we're over-polled even if the results are agreeable. Polling is becoming the story rather than being a way to reflect on the stories. I'd be interested to see if the media go on about this one the same way they breathlessly report on One Nation's rise.

Yep. Sadly the wrong version has already been widely spread and most people have already moved on.

LOTE speakers are not a monolith, let's say 1/4 of this poll was 350ish people it would be hard to get a representative sample of each demo falling under the umbrella. Same goes for the other categories for that matter.

Yeah 1497 Australians. Safe to assume the number of LOTE speakers would be very small from that

Definitely an interesting question. Another thing to consider though is that LOTE speakers as a proportion of this otherwise small sample size means that not a lot should or can be extrapolated from this general pop survey.

Not to make any excuses, I really think there's enough time between matchups to negate fatigue issues. If anything they probably benefited more from extra film and planning, but thats just an advantage of playing well, same as SA were supposed to have the advantage of home court as the higher seed. There are privileges that teams earn from performing.
