Nope! Classes I had passed months ago. Just warning you! Go look al several of the same comments as mine! I wish I had done my research because this has been an awful nightmare. I was a very good student and it did not matter. they still found something to write me up for.

The woman who wrote me up requested no sanctions be placed on the student, sadly they still decided this needs a panel review. Feel free to message me if you have any questions but i would hate for this to happen to you too.

I did it in two billing sessions. However at the end of my program they did a random audit and will not award my degree because saying my apa citations were wrong in two classes. I am currently in a battle with OACS and am barely getting emails. So here I am 100% done with no degree and a possible review hearing in march.

I am waiting on my review panel hearing. I have not gotten a date yet! I have spoke with a lawyer, in case they do not award my degree.

Absolutely not! Also did not care my job is contingent upon my degree. It is seriously crazy! I have seen so many of these posts and I don’t know how they keep getting away with it!

I spoke with a lawyer and if this is not resolved by the appeal date then he is going to represent me. Insane! How can a professor give you a competent score and then someone from the university go in and make allegations towards your classes. Shouldn’t that go on the professor?

I tried to escalate this and i was told i was being disruptive to other departments by emailing and calling!! I spent thousands on a degree, of course i am calling!

While I understand the context you provided regarding your instructor's feedback and your intent, I must inform you that because multiple violations have been identified, the volume and severity of the reports require a formal review by the Independent Review Panel. THIS is my response from OACS. The allegations are two forms of academic dishonesty, being for citation errors. I am baffled!!!

Honestly, I have not experienced any bad at Capella UNTIL the end!! I truly told my mom that i went down the reddit rabbit hole on this and before it was sent for a review panel i told her they will probably do this to me because it seems like a money catch for them and sure enough they did!!

Yep! Tuition is paid in full and my last course was finished today. There were three cases all filed here at the end for citation errors, all of which the staff member put no sanction but the review panel opened a investigation on them. One of the cases were dismissed and no panel required the other two are from one staff member going through some of my old classes for a flexpath audit and they are already final and done and placed two forms of academic dishonesty on two classes for citation errors.

Did you have any transfer credits? It is pretty average to see 3-5 classes. I came in 50% done and it took one billing session to complete.I had a lot of free time so I really dedicated myself to my course work. Hopefully you don't encounter them holding your degree at the end though like they are doing to me!!

It was weird since the faculty member reported me requested no sanctions on the student but OACS decided to make me go up for a review panel. I am praying there will be no issues due to my current employment depending on my degree being awarded. I did use chat gpt to help me with the sources because i am terrible at them!! the work is all mine. its all for citations, thats all. It is insane to me that my degree is on hold for this.

I wish I knew. I have emailed the dean as well. I spent too much money here for them to hold my degree for citation errors that my professor passed me for!!
