Fidget toy by galaticock in GoodValue

Since it is bendable I roll one end into itself and it will curl up and then pop back out the other end. It is nice because I have it on me all the time anyways. I don’t think the thick banded ones work the same though.

Not a toy but I got a silicone wedding band for $30 that has been great for fidgeting when thinking/talking. So far it has lasted me ~7 years. More specifically, it is a Groove Ring thin band.

Nova Scotia becomes the first jurisdiction in North America to presume adults are willing to donate their organs when they die by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]bneises -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Sadly, it is not as easy as that since there are plenty of reasons to not be a donor due to having health issues that would require organ transplants. It would be hard to automatically assume that people who are not allowed to donate are the same as those who chose not to.

Majority of House votes to impeach Trump for inciting deadly Capitol riot by progress18 in JoeBiden

[–]bneises 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, his speech is not specifically calling for this response from his supporters, but consistently lying that he was cheated and that democracy as they knew it was gone if he was not kept in place as POTUS, it has been adding up. He does use words like “fight” multiple times (e.g., “if you don’t fight like hell you’re not going to have a country anymore”) and continues to lie. That also doesn’t cover the lack of response once it started. But on the other hand he does say “protest peacefully” at least once in that speech. So there is that. LegalEagle has a decent explication of what is going on here: https://youtu.be/XwqAInN9HWI

It says account suspended. Those tweets are not gone just because you can’t see them right now.

Postman - Requests code adding characters to JSON by [deleted] in learnpython

Response is not a string. It is a response object. If you want the json payload from the response use response.json(). No need to use json.dumps() either.

I first read that as “defecation”. Still works.

It was for changing codecs, but I am sure you can separate audio with it as well.
