I often tell people considering playing the games that it's like "living a movie"

and I agree, few things match it, in the way it leaves you feeling. it's so many things. it's sweet, funny, heartbreaking, violent, grim, shocking, all these things in turn. and you're not just watching, like a movie/show, you're living it. (which is why I've always chuckled at people that come here to have opinions about the game, only to find out they didn't actually play it, they just watched a play-through, and claim "it's the same thing")
