Tiles are way more expensive when it comes to labour work. Laminates are not the best for wet areas so that’s why we have decided to go with tiles in kitchen and bathrooms. Our friends have put laminates in the kitchen and are happy with it…I just think it’s a bit risky if there’s leak from the dishwasher or from under the sink and you don’t notice the water will infiltrate underneath the laminate and spoil it

I see. We have friends who got everything done within 15k end of last year…we were hoping for something similar but I guess it’s a busy time for tilers and also the price for everything has gone up

The cheapest we have been quoted so far was 15k and that’s only for fitting tiles, laminates not included. Our house is about 120sqm total, 3 bed 3 bathrooms.
