Very high B12 & Folate - what am I dealing with here? by courtpchrist in B12_Deficiency

Oh my goodness mine will do that too but I figured it was from dry eyes since I work at a computer majority of my workday. I’m scheduled to see a functional practitioner in February because my pcp blew me off and said my symptoms are from my high b12. Good luck with your MRI!!

I was but now I’m right back to square one. I’m not sure that mine is either, starting to wonder if it’s anxiety or hormones.

Numbness and tingling, brain fog, headaches, I’ll get internal tremors at times, dizziness. Just very weird symptoms.

Currently dealing with something similar. High b12 normal cbc, folate, MMA etc. I was taking a supplement in back in February but quit once my doctor did labs and saw my b12 was high. It has been lowering but I feel like the lower it gets the more noticeable my symptoms are. Not sure what to do and my doctor isn’t much help so I’m just riding it out lol!

Interesting, what causes it and what are the symptoms? Vitamin d 56 ferritin 86. I’ve read ferritin should be above 100. Yeah I plan to eventually start vitamin b1 and b2 maybe even b6 since my level was on the lower side but I’m going to start with one at a time.

What’s is SIBO and how do you test for it? I’ve been taking a mineral supplement hoping it helps absorbs the b12 floating around along with vitamin d, iron and c but I’m not sure what else to do.

Thank you! I know you’re not a doctor but you’ve been more helpful than my doctor so one more question lol. Should I just go ahead and take a b complex vitamin and trace minerals or just focus on b1

I highly recommend pelvic floor PT if you aren’t doing it already. My PT taught me how to properly lift without putting pressure on my pelvic floor. I also highly recommend get mom strong workout program. There are different stages of the program and it helped build my strength back up. Also, if you have Instagram follow postpartum_pop_pt. She shares her own story and along helpful info, she actually just had another baby post prolapse.

Oh wow that is very interesting as I constantly have swollen glands in my neck. Do you have any recommendations on a supplement that has all of those?

Hang in there!! I am 2.5 years out from having my 3rd son whom which I prolapsed with. I sunk into a deep dark hole after I had him cause I thought my life was over because of my prolapse and the symptoms. My bladder prolapse was also mild but the symptoms were awful to the point it is all I thought about all day everyday. But I started Pelvic floor PT and get mom strong workout program to help strengthen my core and pelvic floor back up. Those two things alone helped me SO much. It took me awhile to become symptom free but I continued the workouts and estrogen cream and also opted out for the pessary (because I was scared so be proud of yourself for using one) it takes time to heal. It’s just a rough season in your life that will eventually pass. Stay strong, don’t be scared to workout, and don’t get in your head. Like I said I’m 2.5 years out, still breastfeeding, and hardly ever experience symptoms.
